In the movie, “Chariots of Fire” the Olympic winner
had a coach. In today’s world it is taken for granted
that any Olympic hopeful would have not just one coach
but a team of coaches. The winner of the Olympic race
that “Chariots of Fire” was based on was one of the
first individuals to hire a coach to enhance his
talents.
The Coaching Experience is very similar to any coaching
situation. A good coach will get you to enhance your
natural talents, your natural abilities. A good coach is
able to notice patterns that keep you from succeeding
and points out those patterns. A very good coach will
help you access your motivation and keep it at a 10. A
very good coach will hold you accountable. An excellent
coach sees your success and will not allow you to make
excuses. An excellent coach teaches YOU how to do all of
the above.
The Coaching Experience is typically done on the phone,
in the comfort and safety of your home or office. Goals
are established with a long term vision put in place;
blocks that keep you from reaching your goals are
explored and dismantled. New ways of behaving, believing
and planning are put in place. There is weekly homework
and a high level of excellence is expected.
Safety is primary for change to take place and that is
continually offered and taught. Insights and actions
that come from the coachee and the coach make the
Coaching Experience a team event and the focus is always
on what is in the highest for all involved.
Integrative Coaching is normally a four month process
and is a very structured, intense, spiritually based
form of coaching. Ms. Browning also offers Balanced
